Senior Accessibility Lead

Job Summary

To enhance accessible digital experiences, the contract Senior Accessibility Lead will work remotely, leading cross-functional teams in accessibility reviews, collaborating with product teams on standards, and assessing digital experiences against WCAG guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate accessibility reviews and ensure timely routing of work
• Collaborate with product teams to incorporate accessibility standards during feature development
• Assess digital experiences against established accessibility conformance criteria, including WCAG guidelines

Required qualifications

• Proven ability to evaluate digital products from an end-user perspective, advocating for accessible solutions
• Hands-on testing experience with assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, Voice-over, and Talkback
• Deep understanding of accessibility standards including WCAG 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, and WAI-ARIA principles
• Strong communication skills to facilitate stakeholder engagement and team coaching
• Familiarity with web and mobile application design, development practices, and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence
