Job Summary
Owning and growing a CPG and Grocery client portfolio, the fully remote Senior Account Manager will manage the full lifecycle of accounts, identify expansion opportunities, and serve as the senior point of contact for key clients while working standard East Coast hours.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of CPG, grocery, retail, and restaurant accounts, ensuring net revenue retention through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells
- Develop and execute expansion plans for each account by mapping new buyers and pitching underused product lines
- Negotiate contracts and renewals while identifying opportunities for scope expansion and maintaining accurate CRM records
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in account management or client-facing roles, preferably in data, SaaS, or research with CPG, Grocery, Retail, or Restaurant clients
- Proven track record of account growth, including specific experience with expansion or upsell metrics
- Experience selling to and negotiating with senior stakeholders (VP and above) in large organizations
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and effectively communicate them
