Senior Account Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Coordinating the billing and follow-up process for patient accounts, the full-time Senior Account Reimbursement Specialist will manage claims, payments, and denials while serving as a liaison with insurance companies in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Process claims, payments, adjustments, refunds, and denials while maintaining accurate account documentation
• Analyze financial data to identify and resolve reimbursement issues and trends
• Serve as a liaison with insurance companies and third-party payors to facilitate effective communication and resolution of inquiries

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in billing or reimbursement
• Basic knowledge of revenue cycle processes and coding systems (ICD-10-CM/PCS)
• Intermediate data entry skills for accurate transcription of information
• Ability to conduct research and analysis to solve non-routine problems
