Senior Account Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Managing the billing and follow-up process for Medicare claims, the full-time remote Senior Account Reimbursement Specialist will coordinate with payers and patients, analyze financial data, and resolve issues related to denials and unpaid balances.

Key responsibilities:

• Process claims, payments, adjustments, refunds, and denials while maintaining accurate account documentation
• Serve as a liaison with insurance companies and third-party payors to resolve patient account inquiries
• Analyze financial data to identify and reconcile patterns resulting in erroneous or no reimbursement

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in billing and claims processing
• Basic knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding classification systems
• Understanding of the revenue cycle process
• Intermediate data entry skills for accurate information transcription
