Senior Account Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Coordinating the billing and follow-up process, the full-time Senior Account Reimbursement Specialist will manage claims, payments, and patient inquiries while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Processes claims, payments, adjustments, and denials while maintaining accurate account documentation
• Serves as a liaison with insurance companies and third-party payors to resolve reimbursement issues
• Analyzes financial data to identify and reconcile patterns leading to erroneous or no reimbursement

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in billing or reimbursement
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and coding systems (ICD-10-CM/PCS)
• Intermediate data entry skills for accurate information transcription
• Ability to conduct research and analysis for problem-solving in billing processes
