Senior Account Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Coordinating the billing and follow-up process for the Transplant Department, the full-time remote Senior Account Reimbursement Specialist will manage claims, payments, and denials while serving as a liaison between the organization, payers, and patients.

Key responsibilities:

• Process claims, payments, adjustments, refunds, and denials while maintaining accurate account documentation
• Analyze financial data to identify and resolve reimbursement issues and trends
• Serve as a liaison with insurance companies and third-party payors to facilitate communication and resolution of account inquiries

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in account reimbursement or a related field
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and coding systems (ICD-10-CM/PCS)
• Intermediate data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to conduct research and analysis to resolve complex billing issues
