Senior Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Account Representative Sr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims and manage payment arrangements with insurers and patients
• Resolve payment discrepancies and assist in the claim appeal process in accordance with Revenue Cycle policies
• Identify recurring issues and procedural deficiencies, providing mentorship and training to staff

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of claims/billing/collections experience, 4 years in a business office setting, a Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be multi-disciplined in billing, collections, denials, and credit balances
• Prior experience with ICD9, CPT4, HCPCS, and medical terminology is preferred
• Familiarity with third-party payer guidelines and reimbursement practices is beneficial
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and develop professional relationships with colleagues
