Senior Account Representative

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of accounts, the full-time Senior Account Representative will ensure accurate and timely claims submission, resolve payment discrepancies, and mentor staff while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of payment postings and resolve discrepancies with payers
• Manage billing, collections, and adjustments for assigned accounts
• Identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions to management

Required qualifications

• 1 year of claims/billing/collections experience, 4 years in a business office, a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with ICD9, CPT4, HCPCS, and medical terminology preferred
• Familiarity with third-party payer guidelines and reimbursement practices
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and develop professional relationships
