Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant responsible for the accounting and budget processes of a non-profit membership organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting tasks including quarter-end closing and financial statement preparation
• Manage accounts payable processes, including timely invoice processing and credit card record maintenance
• Coordinate payroll processing and assist in the creation of the annual budget

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a non-profit setting
• Experience with financial statement preparation, payables, receivables, and audits
• Proficiency in computerized accounting systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central
• Hands-on experience in budget development and fiscal compliance
