Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing veterinary management company, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage the financial statement close process, perform account reconciliations, and prepare financial reporting while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and review monthly account reconciliations across various areas, including payroll and accrued liabilities
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial reporting within the practice management and ERP systems
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure compliance with GAAP standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of related accounting experience
• Experience in the Veterinary, Retail, or Service Industry is a plus
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new skills quickly
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
