Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Overseeing accounting operations for multiple nonprofit entities, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage transaction reviews, account reconciliations, and monthly close processes, with the possibility of remote work preferred in the Eastern time zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve employee expense reports and vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with internal financial policies
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile intercompany accounts and fund balances
• Reconcile donations across various platforms and assist with financial statement preparation and audit support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5-8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit or fund accounting
• Experience with Sage Intacct strongly preferred
• Multi-entity and intercompany transaction experience preferred
• Strong reconciliation skills and detail-oriented approach
