Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their U.S. based remote team, focusing on ensuring accounting accuracy and efficiency while supporting Joint Venture's financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and compliant journal entry submissions and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
- Lead financial close activities, including month-end journal entries and recording accruals, ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Identify process improvement opportunities, communicate recommendations to Senior Management, and oversee the training and supervision of one or two Staff Accountants
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting & reporting
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Prior audit experience preferred and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel skills
