Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, financial statement analysis, and journal entry preparation
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses for senior management decision-making
• Maintain the general ledger, coordinate external audits, and identify process enhancements for efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or MBA preferred
• 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Previous experience in public accounting preferred
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
