Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete timely and accurate month-end close responsibilities including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
• Research and interpret accounting standards to ensure compliance with US GAAP on technical accounting issues
• Assist with year-end audit and tax workpaper preparation as well as annual budget and periodic forecasting

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• 5 or more years of relevant experience required
• Public accounting and/or CPA license required
• Big 4 or large public accounting firm experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
