Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Month-end close procedures including preparation of journal entries, recording of month end accruals, maintaining account reconciliations, and variance and trend analysis
• Analyzing financial information to validate statements are complete and accurate
• Assist with Tax audits and tax returns, and the annual audit

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in accounting or related field
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with General Ledger functions and the month end/year end close process
• Experience with NetSuite a plus, CPA preferred but not required
