Senior Accountant
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Accountant for a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review assignments and journal entries prepared by Junior and Staff Accountants
- Oversee month-end closing process, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and present monthly financial statement results and report on variances to management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in staff and senior positions
- Knowledge of public accounting principles and practices
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office Suite and financial systems
- Preferred qualifications include CPA certification and experience with Oracle Financial software
