Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage advanced accounting and reporting activities for a specific label or affiliate.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced tasks and analyses for monthly/quarterly financial reporting for US business units
• Manage the monthly close process, including journal entries and submission of close-related deliverables
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and assist with internal and external audit documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-4 years of experience in Shared Service or Corporate Accounting and/or with a Big 4 CPA firm
• CPA preferred
• Experience in a SOX controlled environment
• Music industry experience is a plus
