Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support month-end and quarter-end close processes on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Service PO Accrual (SPOA) process by preparing, testing, and maintaining documentation
• Apply GAAP accounting principles to ensure accurate accounting entries
• Collaborate with financial analysts to prepare monthly accruals and assist in analyzing accrual data

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, purchasing, or accounts payable
• Proven experience with month-end close and accruals
• Experience in an enterprise-level, fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles
