Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee loan and corporate accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly accounting for loan activity, including originations and payments
• Execute month-end close processes, including journal entries and financial reporting
• Maintain and reconcile loan sub-ledgers and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in consumer lending or financial services
• Strong understanding of loan accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
• CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus
