Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support its accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial statement preparation and ensure accuracy
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts to resolve discrepancies
• Provide documentation and assistance during internal and external audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience of 5+ years in an accounting role, with 2+ years in a senior role
• Proficiency with accounting software and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance processes
• High level of accuracy and analytical skills to ensure error-free financial records
