Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to help bring their accounting function in-house as they scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the transition of accounting operations from outsourced to in-house
• Own core parts of the monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Help identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and scale

Required Qualifications

• 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting skills and working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Background in Big Four public accounting or high-growth startups; experience in both is strongly preferred
• CPA preferred
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and is excited to build from scratch
