Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant for a remote, contract-to-hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Maintain and review the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to AR functions
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required
• Prior experience in the orthopedic or medical device industry is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA a plus
