Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage general accounting activities remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain lease accounting schedules and ensure timely processing of lease payments
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement changes to improve efficiency and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Audit
• Progressive practical accounting experience in an accrual-based environment preferred
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• CPA certification is preferred
