Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant (Pacific or Mountain Time Zone).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end monthly customer billing cycle and lead revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and support internal and external audit requests

Required Qualifications:

• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on revenue accounting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution
• In-depth understanding of ASC 606 and revenue accounting for complex customer contracts
• Experience in a startup or small-team accounting environment
• Deep experience with U.S. GAAP standards
