Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support the VP of Finance and the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting functions including cost accounting, billing, accounts payable, and general ledger
• Prepare and maintain project budgets, cash receipts journals, and assist with monthly financial reporting
• Conduct audits, special projects, and ensure compliance with government reporting requirements

Qualifications and Minimum Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• At least six years of experience in corporate accounting, with three years in job cost/billing for a government contractor
• Experience with FAR, CAS, DCAA, and Deltek Costpoint Foundations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables
• Experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus
