Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage accounting efforts within the programs department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the processing of accounts payable invoices for the programs department
• Implement and manage a new vendor and invoice management system, including training users
• Participate in month-end close processes and assist with budgeting and grant tracking

Required Qualifications

• Minimum three years of accounting experience in a Staff/Senior Accountant role
• B.Sc. degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant discipline
• Experience processing accounts payable invoices and managing high transaction volumes
• Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Intermediate Excel skills, including vlookups and pivot tables
