Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile the University's endowment funds and track their value
• Calculate and record annual distributions for philanthropic use of funds
• Assist in preparing financial statements and coordinating the annual external audit

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a related field
• A minimum of three years of accounting experience in a non-profit environment
• Experience with gift accounting is preferred
• Prior experience using automated systems and spreadsheet applications is required
• Workday experience and higher education experience are preferred
