Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant to manage core accounting operations and the monthly close process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage billing, revenue recognition processes, and customer billing inquiries
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations, maintaining cash controls and reconciliation discipline

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience
• Ability to independently manage a full monthly close process
• Strong reconciliation skills and operational accounting expertise
• Experience in SaaS, marketplace, or platform-based environments preferred
• Comfort in direct communication with customers regarding billing issues
