Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant (US Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional growth
• Oversee client financials, including month-end reviews, account reconciliations, and journal entries
• Generate actionable financial insights and reports for clients, utilizing cloud-based accounting systems

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Xero or QuickBooks Online cloud-based accounting platforms
• Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with macOS
• Experience using project management or task management tools, preferably Asana
• Ability to categorize transactions based on a typical chart of accounts
• Strong understanding of accounting rules, regulations, and guidelines
