Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, monthly close process, financial reporting, and related accounting functions
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements while analyzing month-over-month variances
• Support compliance and auditors, assist with account reconciliations, and resolve critical month-end issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; equivalent experience may be considered
• Minimum of six years of progressive accounting experience, including financial operations and general ledger month-end close
• Technical knowledge of GAAP requirements
• United States citizenship is required
• CPA certification is highly desired
