Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure proper treatment of transactions
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Participate in improving internal controls and support audits and tax filings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business required; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) and advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience with insurance billing and project-based accounting systems is a plus
