Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant who will maintain the integrity of financial systems and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries and monthly general ledger reconciliations
• Track restricted and unrestricted funds, ensuring compliance with donor restrictions
• Support the annual external audit and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in nonprofit accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting
• Experience with grant and contract reporting and compliance
• Proficiency in accounting systems and strong Excel skills
