Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Support month-end close, analysis, and reporting of financial activities
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and investigate financial discrepancies
Participate in improving internal controls and support audits and tax filings

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business; CPA preferred
5+ years of experience in accounting
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) and advanced MS Excel skills
Experience with insurance billing and project-based accounting systems is a plus
