Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant responsible for supporting the accounting function through accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy of financial statements
• Prepare and post month-end journal entries and research accounting treatments for transactions
• Engage in process improvement efforts and assist in developing accounting policies for internal controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
