Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to contribute to foundational accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Prepare monthly fluctuation analyses and support internal financial reporting across various areas
• Review and submit monthly sales-tax filings and support the annual audit process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; progress toward CPA licensure is a plus
• 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth environment
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Experience building and improving accounting processes
