Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in improving GAAP compliance and preparing journal entries for accurate general ledger maintenance
• Leverage NetSuite for daily accounting operations and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate transaction reporting
• Perform account reconciliations and prepare documentation for complex transactions, including stock-based compensation and revenue recognition

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license preferred
• 5-7+ years of corporate accounting experience with a public company and/or Big 4 public accounting background
• Proficiency in NetSuite or comparable ERP systems
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and experience with technical accounting standards
• Experience preparing or reviewing technical accounting memos and conducting GAAP research
