Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Support and reconcile inventory and cost of goods sold while assisting with financial analysis
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and month-end close processes
• Proficiency in NetSuite is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and inventory accounting principles
• Experience with sales tax compliance and reporting
