Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership in general accounting and perform account reconciliations
• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and schedules
• Evaluate and improve accounting operations and mentor accounting staff as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience
• At least 2 years of finance experience in a government contract-related company
• Familiarity with FAR and CAS principles
• Proven track record in accounting principles (US GAAP) and financial reporting
