Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to assist with accounting functions and report to the Corporate Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the company's general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Drive month-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors for financial audits and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and its application in financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems (Netsuite a plus)
• Proven ability to exercise independent judgment on complex accounting decisions
