Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Accountant to support a short-term contract assignment focused on inventory reconciliation and financial cleanup.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead inventory reconciliation efforts and resolve year-end discrepancies
• Analyze large datasets to identify mismatches and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior-level accounting role with strong reconciliation responsibility
• Background in month-end close, general ledger activity, and journal entry preparation
• Advanced Excel skills for data mining and analysis of high-volume information
• Familiarity with WeInfuse is required; experience with NetSuite is preferred
• Ability to interpret inventory-related transaction details for accurate accounting treatment
