Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Accountant to join a fully remote contract engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage lease accounting activities under ASC 842, including analysis and preparation of entries
• Oversee software capitalization and capital expenditure accounting, ensuring proper treatment of project costs
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations to support an accurate month-end close process

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior-level ownership of complex accounting processes
• Strong background in lease accounting, capital expenditures, and software capitalization
• Proven experience with month-end close, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations
• Experience handling intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities
• ERP experience is required; familiarity with NetSuite is preferred
