Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant who will work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Own assigned accounting areas through monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Lead and support cash accounting, payroll accounting, fixed asset accounting, and general ledger activities
• Drive process improvement initiatives focused on automation, scalability, and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting
• Strong experience operating at a Lead Accountant or Accounting Manager level
• Deep understanding of US GAAP, general ledger accounting, and SOX/internal controls
• Strong NetSuite ERP experience
