Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support a complex fixed asset environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume fixed asset portfolio and oversee asset records for ongoing customer installations
• Support lease accounting for multiple leases and ensure accuracy of lease data and classifications
• Assist in financial reporting for capital projects, evaluating costs for appropriate capitalization treatment

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior-level accounting role with month-end close and general ledger management
• Strong background in preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Hands-on experience managing fixed assets and understanding lease accounting
• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve inconsistencies
• Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet tools for reporting and analysis
