Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Senior Accountant, a full-time remote position focused on payroll accounting, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis, requiring strong analytical skills and collaboration with HR and Payroll teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for payroll and benefits-related accounts
• Partner closely with Payroll and HR to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll data
• Perform detailed flux and variance analysis on payroll-related expenses and identify process improvements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in compensation accounting or a similar role, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and payroll platforms; proficiency in Excel and AI-enabled tools is preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines
