Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial operations in a multi-entity environment, the remote Senior Accountant will manage daily accounting tasks, prepare financial reports, assist with month-end close processes, and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and complex account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes while maintaining accurate financial records
• Work with external auditors to ensure compliance with GAAP and recommend improvements to accounting systems and processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting and analysis
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Demonstrated ability to apply innovative solutions to complex challenges
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred
