Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the part-time Senior Accountant will manage full-cycle general ledger activities, ensure timely financial close processes, and optimize subscription billing and collections, with a planned transition to full-time in January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the full-cycle general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
• Support timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, owning key aspects of the closing checklist
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, including GL management and reporting
• Solid understanding of GAAP, including revenue recognition (ASC 606)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets for financial analysis
