Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage the month-end close process, maintain the general ledger, enforce financial controls, and ensure compliance with GAAP in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review reconciliations, supporting timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Reconcile inventory AP subledgers to the general ledger and collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain audit-ready workpapers, schedules, and documentation, while responding to auditor requests and assisting with testing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP
• Experience using an ERP system
• Proficiency with Excel, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and pivot tables
