Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting general ledger accounting and financial reporting, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage month-end close activities, prepare financial analyses, and ensure accuracy across financial processes in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and financial statement analysis
• Prepare financial reports and variance explanations to support accounting leadership and business decision-making
• Coordinate external audits and provide guidance to junior accounting staff while identifying opportunities for process enhancements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or MBA preferred
• 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience, focusing on general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis principles
• Proficiency with ERP systems, including experience with NetSuite or similar platforms
