Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Accountant will manage core general ledger functions, focusing on inventory accounting, tax compliance, and month-end close execution across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post complex journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of inventory and financial reporting
• Act as the primary liaison with tax consultants for timely tax payments and filings, maintaining organized tax records
• Compile monthly financial statements and identify irregular balances, supporting process improvement and compliance efforts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience within a corporate accounting environment
• Strong experience with general ledger accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and inventory accounting
• CPA designation preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SQL or other data-query tools is a plus
