Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support various day-to-day accounting operations, the remote Senior Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP, manage month-end closing processes, and oversee payroll and benefits accounting.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end closing journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts
• Ensure accuracy of financial statement accounts in accordance with GAAP and improve reconciliation processes
• Manage payroll-related accounting activities and assist with indirect tax compliance and annual audits

Required qualifications:

• Master's in Accounting, CPA designation, or CPA track preferred
• 4+ years of general ledger accounting experience with a strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience in payroll accounting and indirect tax requirements
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems; SAP S4/HANA experience is a plus
• Tech/SAAS industry experience is advantageous
